FINES FOR VIOLATION OF THE RULES FOR PROVIDING ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION HAVE BEEN INCREASED
The procedure for initiating administrative cases by the state environmental supervision body has also been clarified:
- for violation of the procedure for submitting reports on the disposal of waste from the use of goods or a declaration on the quantity of goods released into circulation subject to disposal;
- for failure to pay for negative impact on the environment;
- for non-payment of environmental fees by manufacturers or importers who do not ensure independent waste disposal.
Such cases may be initiated without conducting control (supervisory) measures if there is sufficient data indicating the presence of an administrative offence.
