The Federal Registration Service is empowered with additional authority to regulate the activities of self-regulating organizations of assessors.

Order of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation No. 138 of May 29, 2007 on the Endorsement of the Form of the State Water Register

The new Water Code of the Russian Federation created the State Water Register for the purposes of providing information support for the complex use of water objects, use of water objects for designated purposes, their protection, as well as for the purposed of planning and working out of measures to prevent a negative impact of waters and elimination of its consequences.
