Participants in the program for the voluntary resettlement of compatriots to Russia can obtain a residence permit without a temporary residence permit. An application for its issuance can be submitted to the diplomatic mission or consulate of Russia in the country in which the application for participation in the program was submitted. The territorial body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region selected for resettlement will issue a residence permit after fingerprinting, photographing and submission of medical documents. A residence permit will be cancelled upon loss of the program participant status.
