NOTE TO MEDICAL INSTITUTIONS’ LAWYERS: STARTING FROM SEPTEMBER 2021, NEW RULES FOR PROVIDING PAID MEDICAL SERVICES ARE SUPPOSED TO BE PUT INTO FORCE
Rospotrebnadzor submitted draft new Rules for providing paid medical services. In general, the draft repeats the current Rules, however, a number of points are planned to be settled differently:
- text of the contract on rendering paid medical services must be printed in legible font;
- it will not be possible to include into the contract conditions on limiting performer's liability for results of treatment;
- according to the draft, customer feedback books shall be available in medical institutions;
- new rules for concluding a contract remotely shall appear.
