Monitoring of the Federal Legislation dated 7.11.2007

Federal Law No. 250-FZ of November 4, 2007 on the Amendments to Individual Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation Pertaining to Measures of Reformation of the Joint Power Supply System of Russia

The amendments envisage a switchover to the long-term planning of tariff rates, creation of a system of long-term parameters taken into account when fixing tariff rate, permitting to guarantee incomes from investments and create incentives to increase efficiency of work of regulated organisations. The date of the end of the transient period is July 1, 2008. A similar date if fixed for the reorganisation of the OAO RAO Joint Power Supply System of Russia.
      The Federal Law is entered into force from the day of its official publication except for the provisions where other time limits are specified for the entry into force.
