Federal Law No. 39-FZ of March 14, 2009 on the Amendments to Articles 404 and 405 of the Code of Criminal Procedures of the Russian Federation

Envisages opportunities to revise as an enforcement procedure a convictive judgement, as well as a court ruling or decision because of the need to apply a heavier crime law in view of the mild punishment or for other reasons impairing the convict status, as well as revise a judgment of acquittal or a court decision dismissing the criminal case.
