According to Article 12.1 of the Law of the Russian Federation on the status of judges in the Russian Federation, a misdemeanour implying a disciplinary action in the form of a warning or an early termination of the authority of the judge is not only a violation of the norms of the mentioned Law and the provisions of the Code of Judges' Ethic, but also a violation of the commonly accepted moral norms, duties in the course of execution of justice, rules of conduct in the course of execution of other service duties and non-service activities.
