Federal Law No. 42-FZ of April 5, 2009 on the Amendments to Articles 25 and 26 of the Federal Law on Political Parties and the Federal Law on the Main Guarantees of Electoral Rights and the Right to Participate in the Referendum of the Citizens of the Russian Federation

Introduces a new procedure of participation of public associations not being political parties in the elections of deputies of municipal bodies through proportional electoral system.

Federal Law no. 50-FZ of April 5, 2009 on the Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Collective Security Treaty Organisation on the Terms of Stay of the United Headquarters of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation on the Territory of the Russian Federation

Ratifies the above Agreement.

Federal Law No. 51-FZ of April 5, 2009 on the Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Belarus on the Transit Shipment of Commodities Moved between the Customs Bodies of the Russian Federation and the Customs Bodies of the Republic of Belarus

The ratified Agreement was signed in Moscow on June 29, 2007 and simplifies the procedure of customs registration and customs control of commodities moved in transit shipments under the customs control between the customs bodies of Russia and the Republic of Belarus.
