Federal Law No. 46-FZ of April 9, 2007 on the Amendments to the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation

The terminology of Articles 11, 252 and 253 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation is being brought in compliance with the terminology used in the UN Convention on the law of the sea of 1982 and the Federal Laws on the internal sea waters, territorial sea and the adjacent zone of the Russian Federation, on the continental shelf of the Russian Federation and on the exclusive economic zone of the Russian Federation.

Federal Law No. 45-FZ of April 9, 2007 on the Amendments to the Code of Administrative Violations of the Russian Federation

The amendments enhance administrative responsibility for the violations of the antimonopoly legislation.
      The Federal Law is entered into force 30 days after the day of its official publication.

Federal Law No. 44-FZ of April 9, 2007 on the Amendments to Articles 10.6 and 10.8 of the Code of Administrative Violations of the Russian Federation

The amendments increase amounts of administrative fines for the violation of the rules of animal quarantine or veterinary-and-sanitary rules of transportation or slaughter of animals or the rules of processing, storage or sale of products of animal breeding, as well as other veterinary-and-sanitary rules.

Federal Law No. 42-FZ of April 9, 2007 on the Amendments to Articles 146 and 180 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation

The amendments increase the maximum punishment for the crimes (violation of the copyright and adjacent rights) envisaged in Articles 146 and 180 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation from 5 to 6 years of imprisonment. Besides, the maximum amount of fine for the illegal use of the trade mark is increased from Rbl 300,000 to Rbl 500,000.
      The Federal Law is entered into force from the day of its official publication.

Decision of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 203 of April 6, 2007 on the Amendments to the Decision of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 250 of April 28, 2006

Amends the rules of granting subsidies from the federal budget to the budgets of the subjects of the Russian Federation for the measures of improvement of housing conditions of citizens living in rural arrears endorsed by the Decision of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 250 of April 28, 2006.

In the II quarter of 2007, the rouble equivalent of the minimum amount of the registered capital of the newly registered bank must make Rbl 173.322 million, newly registered non-bank credit organisation - Rbl 17.3322 million.
      The rouble equivalent of the minimum amount of own resources (capital) of the bank (including the one requesting the general license), as well as a non-bank credit organisation requesting the status of a bank must make Rbl 173.322 million.
